So for this reason, he chose an alternative to nasty plastics made from oil that have the potential to cause quite a bit of damage to our planet. Corn fibre is a PLA, which means it can break down and biodegrade. These corn fibre tea bags won’t change the flavour of your tea so you can rest assured you’re doing the world some good, while also enjoying a cup of chai. Even the clear bag they come in and the labels are home compostable and plastic free.

About the maker: Andrew started Chala Chai in 2020 after attempting many combinations for Chai recipes during lockdown. Since then he has gone on to become an award winning chai maker! Everything is made in small batches which is full of flavour, quality, and high-grade ingredients.
